Refund policy

Grantham strives to ensure customer satisfaction and follows a transparent, fair, and consistent return and refund policy.

With respect to eBooks, customers are advised that due to the inherently digital nature of such products, once purchased and delivered electronically, they are deemed non-returnable and non-refundable under all circumstances.

For printed books and Grantham-branded merchandise, returns shall be accepted only in cases where the item is defective, physically damaged in transit, or incorrect in terms of the product delivered. Customers must notify Grantham of any such issue within eight (8) days of receiving the order, accompanied by clear photographs and proof of purchase.

In order to qualify for return, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned along with its original packaging, invoice, and all accompanying accessories (if any). Items that have been tampered with, used, or are missing essential components shall not be eligible for returns.

Refunds, where approved, shall be processed only to the original method of payment used during purchase. The timelines for reflecting refunds in the customer’s account may vary depending on the policies of the respective bank, payment gateway, or financial institution. Where a suitable replacement of the product is available, Grantham may first attempt to provide a replacement; in the absence of availability, a monetary refund shall be issued.

For international orders, returns and refunds shall be handled on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration courier restrictions, cross-border regulations, customs clearances, and logistical feasibility.

Customers may request cancellation of orders before dispatch; however, once an order has been shipped, cancellations will not be entertained. Grantham reserves the right to decline returns, refuse refunds, or cancel future orders in cases where fraudulent claims, misuse of policy, or repeated cancellations are suspected.

Grantham offers a wide range of secure payment options to ensure convenience and flexibility for its customers. Accepted methods of payment include Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), Debit Cards, Net Banking (including but not limited to ICICI, SBI, Axis, PNB, Yes Bank, etc.), UPI & Mobile Wallets (PhonePe, Paytm, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, BHIM), PayPal (for international transactions), and Direct Bank Transfers.

All transactions are processed through industry-standard encrypted payment gateways, ensuring that sensitive financial details remain confidential. For added security, Grantham does not store or retain customer card details or banking credentials on its servers.

In certain cases, Grantham may conduct additional verification of orders through email or telephone before dispatching them. If the customer fails to respond to verification requests promptly, the order may be delayed or cancelled at the sole discretion of Grantham.

In the event of failed transactions, where payment is debited but the order is not confirmed, customers must promptly notify Grantham and provide supporting proof of payment. Upon verification, the amount will be refunded to the original payment method used. Refund timelines are subject to the policies of the respective bank or payment provider.

Grantham reserves the right to suspend, withhold, or cancel any order in cases of incomplete payments, unauthorised transactions, suspected fraud, or violations of applicable laws and regulations.
